When
Clouds™ launched
its dynamic new website on the internet, the company
wanted a fresh way to introduce its custom
fit ear gear solution to the world. Barnstorm worked
with Clouds™ to
produce the web video from scratch to capture the look,
feel and philosophy behind the company.
We optimized it for the web to include on the Clouds™ home
page. Additionally, in record time, Barnstorm used
existing footage to create a demo video for the
website.
-Disney's
Wide World of Sports, Live Sports DVD
Barnstorm
developed a plan and produced two series of high-energy
sports DVDs at the
Disney Wide World of Sports Complex. The Barnstorm
crew shot live sporting events which were tranformed
into DVDs available for retail sale.
-ZeroWater
Company Infomercial
Along
with a talented production team under the banner of GoConvergence, Barnstorm staff worked
to help produce an infomercial and a series of short-form
videos for the ZeroWater company and its patented
line of drinking water filters. The producing job included
arranging focus groups, writing scripts, and producing
location
and soundstage
shoots for the project. It was also essential to work
closely with the client
for editing and delivery needs. One of the distinctive
videos is featured on the ZeroWater website as
a way of demonstrating the unique benefits of the product.
-School
of Golf - Television Series
Golf Channel reality series aired in the fall of 2008
and focuses on academics, social life and golf games
of the students at the Hank Haney International Junior
Golf
Academy.
As
senior
field
producer under the banner of GoConvergence, the work included
managing
the
day-to-day shooting
schedule
of production
while
working
closely
with Hank Haney, golf instructor and swing coach to
famous golf
pros, and his staff. Responsibilities included managing
crews, capturing live reality action, and forming storylines
into episodic form. Additionally, we took on off-line
video
editing
duties
for several
episodes.
The
series is featured on the Golf Channel website.
-River Country Estates
River Country Estates is a luxury log home living community nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The company needed a way to showcase its home models for sale and market the resort-like amenities offered in the community. Barnstorm traveled to River Country Estates, and shot HD footage of the breathtaking scenery and homes. We wrote the scripts and edited the production, including voiceover and music. The video launched on the Internet, attracting many prospective buyers to the company's website.

A
private Kindergarten through 12th grade day school, Lake
Highland Preparatory School wanted a professional production
that showcased the school and the educational experience it
offers. The school hired Barnstorm to produce a DVD that it
could send out to families of prospective students. We wrote
the script and then captured the campus with its students
and teachers in vibrant cinematography. We edited the piece
and mixed the audio in 5.1 Surround Sound, before authoring
the DVD. Barnstorm designed the packaging and labeling and
got the product replicated for LHPS.
The
DVD product has been sent out to countless interested students
who marvel at the beauty of LHPS's campus and the top-notch
education it offers. Barnstorm converted the video into a
Web Video and made it available for viewing worldwide on the
Internet. This can be viewed on the player to the left of
this paragraph. LHPS now has a new way of drawing in students
the globe over, just by getting the video out there on the
Web.

organization offers training websites for its sales persons.
Audio pieces accompany the interactive websites, enhancing
the experience for viewers. Farmer's Insurance needed assistance
in recording the audio needed for these pieces and called
on Barnstorm. On several of the company's projects, we recorded,
processed, and uploaded audio files in record time to meet
their ambitious deadlines, allowing them time to upload to

high-quality video playback as well as a seamless interactive

As
an entertaining demonstration video, "Shortline with
Drew Ross" highlights the skills of professional waterskiier
Drew Ross and his colleagues while giving helpful lessons
and tips for the beginner. The producers of the video wanted
to bring it to the DVD medium and Barnstorm stepped in to
help. We authored the professional DVD on a short deadline
and mastered it for replication.

Holyland Experience
A
living biblical museum and park in Orlando, Florida, The
Holyland Experience had a gorgeous video production of
its "Behold the Lamb" dramatic park performance.
The company wanted to turn the video into a Hollywood-quality
DVD produced in time for sale during the Easter season. Barnstorm
Productions designed interactive motion menus, encoded impeccible
video quality, and authored the DVD complete with English,
Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles, meeting the client's deadline.

as well as at The Holyland Experience online store.
-ESPN2
As
the sport of paintball started getting noticed, Barnstorm
Productions saw the opportunity to attract more attention
while creating a thrilling program anyone would enjoy. We
partnered with ESPN2
to produce a pulse-racing paintball tournament held in the
unique venue of the Disney-MGM Studios New York Street area.
The program was written, shot live-to-tape with six cameras,
and formatted for broadcast by Barnstorm.

show ran as a one-hour special feature program on the ESPN2
channel as perhaps the first mass-viewed and televised paintball
tournament. Due to its success, it aired in multiple day-parts
over a period of six months. The paintball sponsors and advertisers
enjoyed publicity like they had never before experienced.

The
Daisy Manufacturing
Company and its Brass
Eagle division grew into a leader in the field of paintball
sports equipment and supplies. They wanted a companion product
to help sell their paintball markers. Barnstorm worked again
with Fred Schultz, legendary paintball player and expert,
to re-create their previous paintball videotape into an instructional
and promotional piece for the company. "The Fun of Paintball"
brought demonstration tips to beginner players while promoting
the products sold by Brass Eagle. Barnstorm wrote, shot, and
edited the exciting video product and handled the packaging,
duplication, and shipping of the finished product for Brass
Eagle. The product was packaged with paintball markers and
sold in the largest department store chains in the country
and worldwide.
Additionally,
Brass Eagle devised a new way to play the game of paintball
in a Hyperball court designed and sold by the company. To
promote the new idea, Brass Eagle hired Barnstorm to create
a marketing video. We shot on location at Panama City, Florida
during spring break. Hosted by Fred Schultz, the fun video
showcased a Hyperball tournament played on the beach amid
the sunny party atmosphere.

Both
products proved to be successful for the Brass Eagle Company.
"The Fun of Paintball" sold over 800,000 units and
brought amazing attention to Brass Eagle, added perceived
value to the paintball marker retail product, and contributed
to the rising popularity of the sport of paintball. At trade
shows, the Hyperball video played countless times to attract
paintball dealers to the unique court idea. Today, we showcase
the Hyperball Web Video at our online paintball store, visited
by thousands.

Recognizing
a need to tap into the momentum of extreme sports popularity,
Barnstorm Productions worked with professional paintball
champion,
Fred Schultz, to create an entertaining "how to"
video for the sport. "The Basics of Paintball with Fred
Schultz" is a fun introduction to paintball that gives
viewers the knowledge to develop the athletic and strategic
skills to learn the game. Barnstorm co-wrote the script and
shot the thrilling footage on location. We edited it and
mastered
it for duplication to VHS.

made audiovisual paintball products and has sold in countless
paintball stores and in catalogs. Barnstorm brought the classic
video online at its paintball Web Video catalog where it is

The
IMIX company, now owned by Grass
Valley, was one of the first to produce a computer-based,
non-linear editing system. Barnstorm Productions was one of
the first production companies asked to beta test the systems
for use in video production.

- "The Dana Carvey Show"
"The
Dana Carvey Show," a comedy sketch program starring
comedian Dana Carvey, came to Florida to shoot segments for
its show. Barnstorm Productions, Inc. took the reins as segment
production company, making travel arrangements for the cast,
scouting locations, and shooting the segments in the Central
Florida area.
Segments
shot with Barnstorm aired on numerous dates as the show made
its debut to a national primetime television audience on the
ABC Network.
